WordPress built as a framework, not a theme.
Custom post types, field groups and a block system designed around your content before a line of CSS is written. Fast on Core Web Vitals, safe on WP Engine, and editable by the people who actually publish.

The build, end to end.
Architecture first
- Content model mapped to the design before development starts
- Custom post types, taxonomies and ACF field groups kept in theme code, not the database
- Block architecture on GenerateBlocks and native blocks, so editors get real controls without a page builder
Pixel-perfect, device-tested
- Figma (or Lovable, or a PDF) treated as a spec, not a suggestion
- Checked at desktop, tablet and phone widths before any stakeholder review
- Built to WCAG 2.2 AA: contrast, focus states, keyboard navigation, semantic markup
Performance as a deliverable
- Core Web Vitals tracked from the first staging build
- Perfmatters script management, local fonts, lazy loading, image optimisation on upload
- Relevanssi search, Yoast schema and Redirection with 404 logging configured, not just installed
MarTech wired in
- Marketo, HubSpot and Pardot forms embedded with your existing form IDs, gated resources included
- GTM dataLayer events per form, 6sense smart-fill, OneTrust and DSAR flows
- Greenhouse, rate feeds and other APIs rendered natively, with the integration code in your repo
Security you can show your IT team
- Theme code in a GitHub repo you own, transferred at launch
- Every build gets an automated security audit with the fixes applied before go-live
- WP Umbrella with Patchstack virtual patching recommended post-launch, so plugin CVEs are covered before the patch ships
Launch and handover
- Redirect map built from the old site’s URLs, then verified after cutover
- Editor accounts, short screen-recorded how-to videos, a written handover
- Optional care plan so the person who built it keeps it running
Framework build vs. theme + page builder
| Over the life of the site | Purchased theme + builder | Custom framework build How we build |
|---|---|---|
| Unused CSS and JS shipped to every visitor | 150–500 KB | Only what the page uses |
| Design matches the approved Figma Themes constrain the layout; frameworks follow the spec | Partial | Yes |
| Theme update breaks custom work | Yes | No |
| Editors get purpose-built blocks | No | Yes |
| Code lives in your GitHub | No | Yes |
| Migrating away later | Rebuild from scratch | Portable content model |
WordPress, answered.
Do you use page builders like Elementor or Divi?
No. Builds use native blocks with GenerateBlocks for layout and ACF PRO for structured fields. Editors get real controls for the sections the design needs, without the bloat and lock-in of a general-purpose builder.
Where does the site get hosted?
WP Engine by default. We are an Agency Partner, so your site gets fast tier-2 support through our account while the hosting contract stays in your name. Other managed hosts work too if IT has a preference.
Can our team edit the site without breaking it?
Yes. Every block is designed with guard-rails: editors change content and pick from approved options; the design system does the rest. Handover includes short videos for the tasks your team does most.
Who owns the code?
You do. The theme lives in a GitHub repository that is transferred to your organisation at launch. There are no licence fees for our code.
Do you work with our existing marketing stack?
Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce web-to-lead, 6sense, Google Tag Manager, GA4, OneTrust and Greenhouse have all been wired into recent builds. If it has an API or an embed, it can be integrated.
